Homebuilders join forces to buy Big Sky subdivision in Osceola | GrowthSpotter

“Two national homebuilders paid $10.75 million Wednesday for a shovel-ready 332-lot subdivision on Big Sky Boulevard, between Kissimmee and St. Cloud.
The seller was a Daryl Carter-led investment group, which had purchased the 98-acre Murrell property in 2019 and led the project through its permitting approvals. The subdivision has an approved Site Development Permit from Osceola County that calls for 244 detached home lots and 88 townhouse lots.
Carter, president of Maury L. Carter and Associates, told GrowthSpotter he received multiple offers for the Big Sky project, ultimately choosing to go with Richmond American Homes. The builder will keep 175 homesites and sell the remaining lots to Taylor Morrison Homes for just over $5 million.”
