Tampa developer Eisenhower Property Group adds hundreds of acres to Groveland project | Orlando Business Journal

A Tampa developer just dropped north of $23 million to buy more than 600 acres on Groveland’s north side.

EPG Sunstone Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of Eisenhower Property Group, made the pair of acquisitions across two deals that closed April 23 and April 26, according to Lake County records.

The deals were made related to Eisenhower’s Brighthill development, which will rise at the northwest corner of where Florida’s Turnpike passes over State Road 19.

Daryl Carter of Maury L. Carter & Associates Inc. represented Little Everglades Farm in the deal, while Jim Dowd of Dowd Properties Inc. represented the buyer.

Developer adds 1,300 acres along rural road | Orlando Sentinel

An Orlando-area developer recently bought more than 1,300 acres on State Road 415, expanding his already massive landholdings along a rural highway in an area of southwest Volusia facing tremendous growth pressures.

Daryl Carter, a real-estate developer and speculator who rubs elbows with Central Florida’s most powerful politicians, pluned down $14 million last month for the property west of S.R. 415 and known as the Akers Quail Ranch.
