As several residential projects move forward around Boggy Creek Road near the Osceola County line, a plan is underway to establish more multifamily entitlements in this rapidly growing area close to Lake Nona.

The owner of a 9.8-acre stretch of property a short drive south of S.R. 417 has submitted an application to Orange County requesting to change the land use from its current agricultural designation to allow for the development of 88 apartment homes.

On the opposite side of Boggy Creek Road, land investors Jim Dowd and Daryl Carter are seeking entitlements for two separate multifamily projects totaling 638 units.
